| Abstract: | Glycyrrhiza pallidiflora hairy roots were induced from axenic young plants by direct infection with Agrobacterium rhizogenes. The chemical constituents were then investigated after mass culture. The isoflavone, licoagroisoflavone and the coumestan, licoagroside C, were isolated along with seven known flavonoids. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. |
