我国西部珍稀濒危物种--白尾地鸦

白尾地鸦是中国的特有物种，仅仅分布于我国西北的塔克拉玛干沙漠，目前估算数量不足7000只。随着我国西部大开发的进行，西部脆弱的生态环境保护面临着巨大压力。生物资源尤其是稀有物种的保护面临越来越大的挑战。由于白尾地鸦数量的稀少且不为人所熟知，笔者想通过这篇文章唤起人们对生活在西部边远地区的我国珍稀鸟类—白尾地鸦的关注与保护。

Rare and in Iminent Danger Podoces biddulphi in West China

Podoces biddulphi discovered only in Taklimakan of northwest China is a special species in China. At present, the number is estimated no more than 7000. With development of west China,the ecological environment is confronted with more pressure. Biology resource, especially rare species faces more and more great challenge. In the paper, the authors call for intense concentration on protection of Podoces biddulphi inhabited in west China.
