| Abstract: | During the last century,especially from late 1970s,a large number of studies have been conducted on ecology of Chinese alligator,which played important roles in improving captive population.This paper reviews all the key results of researches on ecology of the animal,which including changes of the population in history,causes of the populmion decline,strategies of the animal's life history,habitat selection,ecology of behavior and physiology and so on.Some suggestions for future research are also made. |
