| Abstract: | The effect of acute and chronic hypophosphatemia on rat hindlimb skeletal muscle glucose uptake was examined. Acute hypophosphatemia had no effect on glucose uptake whereas chronic hypophosphatemia had a direct linear effect on glucose uptake. |
