| Abstract: | A new species of Emphytus Klug of Allantinae is described from Mt. Helanshan of Inner Mongolia. A key to known species of Emphytus Klug from China is provided. The types are deposited in the Insect Collection of Central South University of Forestry and Technology. Emphytus helanshanicus Wei, Li & Xiao, sp. nov. (Figs. 1-9) Body length 8 mm.
