| Abstract: | Biotransformation is the important approach for the modernization of Chinese traditonal medicine. Research related to the biotransformation of chemical components of Chinese herbal medicine was elucidated, and their applications were illustrated with examples in the article. The existent problems and the possible approaches were discussed and the developing trend of biotransformation was viewed. |
