| Abstract: | DNA topoisomerases play an important role in regulating DNA structure, thus affecting many aspects of chromosome function inside cells. Recent progress in this field raises exciting questions regarding the distinct and critical functions of multiple topoisomerases, and the roles of DNA topoisomerases in the processes of chromosome condensation, decondensation, and segregation. |
