摘    要:刺吸电波图(EPG)是用于研究刺吸式口器昆虫取食的电生理技术。实验中,昆虫粘连技术是一项非常关键的技术,直接影响实验结果。该文以烟粉虱Bemisiatabaci(Gennadius) ,为例,介绍了粉虱成虫和若虫粘连的具体步骤和注意细节,比较了不同粘连方法的优缺点。结果表明,冷冻法是粘连粉虱最好的一种方法。

Abstract:EPG is an electrical physiological technology which is used to study the probing and feeding behavior of piercing sucking insects. The insect gluing procedure is the pivotal skill which can affect the experiment result directly. In this article, we take Bemisia tabaci(Gennadius) as an example to introduce the detailed steps and gluing skills for the nymph and adult whitefly study. We also compare the different insect-handling methods. We suggest that the cold plate method is the best and convenient to glue whiteflies.
