Abstract:he normal host range of EB virus (EBV)is limited to primate B lymphocytesand cer-tain epithelial cells that express the CR2/EB virus receptor.An eukaryotic expression plasmidpSG5-CR2 encoding CR2 gene cDNA sequence was successfully constructed ,and the CR2 ex-pressed well in Wish and CNE3 cells.The CR2 positive cell is about 5.Both wish and CNE3 cells were infected by B95-8 strain of EB virus after the plasmid pSG5-CR2transfection.Curing the day 2-25after the EB virus infection,EBV related antigens includingEBNAl,early and capsid antigens were detected in cells by immunological assay.The infection of both Wish and CNE3 cells through expression of recombinant human CR2would facilitate the analysis of cellular factors that influence the viral growth and the mechanism by which EB virus infection induces nasopharyngeal carcinoma in human.
