捕捉法ELISA检测流行性乙型脑炎IgM抗体用于早期快速诊断

RAPID DIAGNOSIS OF JAPANESE ENCEPHALITIS BY CAPTURE ELISA FOR SPECIFIC IgM ANTIBODY

An IgM capture ELISA for rapid diagnosis of Japanese encephalitis (JE) was studied. The JE virus antigen was prepared by infected C6/36 cells. From the examination of 62 serum samples,IgM capture ELISA was 46.6% positive and hemagglutination inhibition test was 35% positive only. The IgM antibody was all positive in 6 patients with 4-fold rise of HI anti body against JEV in paired sera. It seems that IgM capture ELISA is more sensitive than HI test, Using IgM capture ELISA to detect the JE IgM antibody from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was more reliable for diagnosis of the disease than the detection IgM from serum. Because it is not influenced by inapparent infection of JE virus in which IgM could be detected in the serum also. Specific IgM antibody detection from CSF could easily to differentiate JE from Herpes simplex virus encephalitis.
