我国G9型轮状病毒VP7编码基因的序列分析

SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF THE GENE ENCODING VP7 OF A SEROTYPE 9 ROTAVIRUS FIELD STRAIN IDENTIFIED IN BEIJING

In order to determine at the nucleotide level whether the strain T203 that was previously identified as rotavirus serotype 9 is distinct from established serotypes,the VP7 gene fragment from rotavirus strain T203 was cloned and sequenced.Comparative analysis of nucleotide sequence indicates that the strain T203 is distinguishable from serotypes 1-4 rotavirus(74%-78% homology)and similar to serotype 9 strains of WI61 and F45 (89% homology) at the nucleotide level.So the sequence analysis is consistent with previous report that designated T203 as rotavirus serotype 9.
