| Abstract: | After acclimation either to high pressure (101 ATA) or to low temperature (9°C), the number of mucous cells within gill epithelium of freshwater eel Anguilla anguilla was significantly decreased and the density of chloride cells was significantly increased when compared to control fish (1 ATA, 19°C). |
