Abstract:Clutch size of nine‐spined stickleback Pungitius pungitius from Airolo and Dog Bone Lakes, Alaska, showed small but significant differences between lakes and across 2 years. The variation in clutch size was independent of variation in egg mass, which did not differ appreciably between lakes or across years.
