| Abstract: | The tissue culture of Pueraria lobata (Willd.) Ohwi leaf and stem explants are successful for callus induction, and the mature leaf is the best one for forming callus. The combination of NAA 1.0 mg/L and BA 3.0 mg/L as an induced medium is optimum for the formation of the calli. The suitable medium for bud formation is MS medium added BA 2.0 mg/L, AgNO 3 4.24 g/L and 4 PU 0.5 mg/L; 1.0 mg/L NAA is effective to induce root; PP 333 can promote the growth of test tube plantlets in vitro . |
