| Abstract: | The effects of low temperature and water stress on floral formation in evergreen fruit trees, including the floral response in different fruits to the stress, the physiological changes of the stress treatments and the possible mechanism are reviewed. The mode of action of low temperature and water stress on floral formation is presented. The perspective of this field is also discussed. |
