| Abstract: | The historical and present situations of turfgrass traditional and transgenic breeding are introduced, meanwhile, the operation procedure of transgenic breeding is summarized in this paper. In addition, there are some detailed discussions on transgenic safety resulted from gene losing, gene silencing and gene flowing in transgenic breeding in plants, especially in turfgrass. |
