水稻窄叶突变体nal(t)的表型分析与基因定位

摘    要:在水稻(Oryza sativa)缙恢10号的EMS诱变群体中发现一个窄叶突变体nal(t), 表现出叶片变窄不变短、植株半矮化、节间变细变短和穗长缩短等特性。突变体苗期和成熟期叶片平均宽度为0.99 cm和1.42 cm, 分别为野生型的76%和74%,均达到极显著差异。nal(t)成熟期倒一、倒二、倒三节间长和宽分别为9.16 cm、6.97 cm、3.57 cm和0.31 cm、0.36 cm、0.45 cm, 仅为野生型的63%、83%、71%和78%、72%、79%。遗传分析表明该突变性状受1对隐性核基因控制, 利用SSR标记将NAL(T)定位在第12染色体长臂RM6869和RM28537之间, 遗传距离分别为3.1 cM和9.0 cM。

Abstract:A narrow-leaf mutant (nal(t)) was derived from Jinhui10 (Oryza sativa) treated with ethylmethane sulfonate.The mutant displayed a significant phenotype of narrow leaf, narrow and short culm, and short panicle. The leaf width was 0.99 and 1.42 cm at the seedling and heading stages, respectively, which was 76% and 74%, respectively, that of the wild type. The length of the first, second and third internodes from the top was 9.16, 6.97 and 3.57 cm, respectively, at the heading stage, which was 63%, 83% and 71%, respectively, that of the wild type, and the width of the first, second and third internodes from top was 0.31, 0.36 and 0.45 cm, respectively, which was 78%, 72% and 79%, respectively, that of the wild type. Genetic analysis showed that the narrow-leaf mutation was controlled by a major recessive nuclear gene, designated NAL(T), which was located between simple sequence repeat markers RM6869 and RM28537 on the long arm of chromosome 12, with genetic distances 3.1 and 9.0 cM, respectively.
