| Abstract: | Dentritic polymers (dendrimers) are belonging to a special class of synthetic nanostructures,which have attracted considerable attention in pharmaceutical and biomedicinal chemestry particularly.Their accurately controlled structures and unique physical and chemical properties have demonstrated great versatilities in many life science application.This review briefly discusses dendrimers used as a novel macromolecular vector for safety,high bioavailability and low mammalian toxicity,and their potential applications in drug delivery system and as gene delivery agents and magnetic resonance imaging agents. |
