Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effects of spaceflight on CHO(dhfr-) cells growth characteristics Methods: CHO(dhfr-) cells were loaded and flight 18days on the No.18 recovered satellite. All survival cells were monocoloned and 159 cell lines were obtained. 3 cell lines selected randomly were used as cell models, the experimental methods such as cell morphological observation, MTT assay, FACS and 3H incorporation were used for analysis of cell growth characteristics. Results: Comparing with the control group, CHO(dhfr-) cells appeared multiple cell morphological changes and the cell number of G1 phase was increased markedly (p<0.05). Growth rate ,biosynthesis of nucleic acid and protein in mutated cells were varied without specifically disciplinarian. Conclusion: The data suggested that effects of spaceflight on growth characteristics were complicated and multiplex in CHO(dhfr-) cells.;
