| Abstract: | A non water soluable methamidophos degrading enzyme was extracted from the methylotrophic bacterium WB 1 growing on the minimal medium with methamidophos as sole carbon and nitrogen source in the existence of Tween 20.One percent of Tween 20 when extracted improved the enzyme activity about 4 times;at the same time,three percent of Tween 20 in the determination system could increase the enzyme activity greatly.Different procedures of determination affected the result to a large extent.In addition,moderate NH 4Cl and KCN could also improve the enzyme activity respectively,but the mechanisms were different from each other. |
