| Abstract: | Peptidyl transferase, the ribosomal enzyme which synthesizes peptide bonds, can catalyse the formation of ester linkages between α-hydroxyacyl-tRNA and aminoacyl-tRNA when ribosomes carry out a specific translation of phage R17 RNA in vitro. |
