| Abstract: | About 100 growth curves of Scenedesmus quadricauda in batch cultures on different growth media are analysed. In many cases after a retardation phase, a second exponential growth phase appears. The accuracy of measurements of the different growth phases as effected by the growth medium is discussed. |
