Abstract: | 1. The classical pentose and not the L-type pathway functions in liver (Rognstad et al., 1982; Landau and Wood, 1983a; Landau, 1985; Scofield et al., 1985b). 2. It seems necessary to summarize again the reasons for this conclusion because of a recent review by Williams and his coworkers in this Journal (Williams et al., 1987). |
