摘    要:使用出壳后3星期的鸡,把后背阔肌(快,α型纤维)切碎然后使之占据前背阔肌(慢-紧张,α’和β’型纤维)的空缺位置,并在前背阔肌神经的支配下生成新肌,新生肌肉象正常前背阔肌一样具有 ATP-ase 淡染的性质,但它也与前背阔肌不同,它具有酸不稳定性,而这后一性质却是碎肉源(后背阔肌)的性质。另外,把前背阔肌切碎然后把它放归原位,则由此新生的肌肉在上述两个方面都象正常的前背阔肌。以上实验证明在出生后3星期的鸡的横纹肌中的卫星细胞已带有向某种类型发育的倾向,以致于这些细胞经繁殖、融合后所产生的肌纤维仍带有肉源肌肉的某些性质。

Abstract:After the commencement of cross-innervation by Buller et al in 1960,Feng etal(1965)reported that in adult chick cross-innervation does not lead to transfor-mation of contraction speed of muscle.However,the fast and slow muscles can betransformed if the operation is done just after hatching as reported by Zelena et aland confirmed by many others.It is evident that some weeks after hatching themuscle has become intransformable.Cross-innervation using minced muscle trans-plantation method will give rise to a newly regenerated muscle developed underthe influence of an alien nerve from the beginning of development and is expectedto give a thoroughly transformed muscle.In the present work we use 3-week-oldchicks,cut the extirpated posterior Latissimus Dorsi into 1 mm sections and put theminced muscle in place of the anterior Latissimus Dorsi.The regenerated musclesare examined by histochemical means 2,3,5,8 and 9 months after operation(all 9animals).In the regenerated muscle there is a bundle which is ATP-ase pale stained,enlarging with time(fig.4A)and reverse to dark after acidic preincubation(fig.4C),indicating retaining of acid-labile property of the muscle donor.When the anteriorLatissimus Dorsi is taken out,minced and replaced to the original bed,the regenerat-ed muscle exhibits both ATP-ase pale staining and acid-stable properties as examin-ed 2,3,5 and 6 months after operation(all 6 animals).Beside the vast majority ofthe acid-stable fibres,there are a few disseminated alpha-R fibres of Ashmore that re-verse to pale after acidic preincubation(fig.1,2.).It is concluded that in chicks ofsome weeks old the myogenic(satellite)cells of fast muscle have got a tendency toform a certain type of muscle fibres that bear some properties of the muscle donoreven under the influence of slow nerve.
