| Abstract: | The new generic name Stirtonanthus is proposed to replace the illegitimate Stirtonia Van Wyk & Schutte (1994), which proves to be a later homonym of Stirtonia A. L . Smith (1926) and Stirtonia R. Brown (1900). |
