摘    要:众所周知,肉食动物和大白鼠的脚内核,相当于灵长类的内侧苍白球(Nagy et al.1978;Fox and Schmitz 1944);它们的细胞形态、传入及传出均相同。早期以及近年来的一些研究工作者,虽然在研究其他核团的投射时,联系到一些本核团的传入,但是尚缺乏对本核团传人的系统研究。本实验即是应用辣根过氧化物酶的逆行传递法来研究大白鼠脚内核的传入性联系。

Abstract:The afferent connections of the entopeduncular nucleus in rats were studied by retrograde transport method, using horseradish peroxidase (HRP).The microinjected syringe needle, or microelectrophoretic pipette was inserted into the brain in vertical direction or in inclined direction through the cerebellum or cerebral cortex ipsilaterally.The results revealed that following HBP injection into the entopeduncular nucleus, labeled neurons were found in frontal cortex, caudate nucleus, subthalamic nucleus, zona reticularis and compacta substantia nigra, dorsal raphe nucleus, nucleus dorsalis and ventralis parabrachialis and locus coeruleus in all cases. Among them, dorsal raphe nucleus, nuclei parabrachialis and locus coeruleus were labeled bilaterally.The cauiato-entopeduncular or dorsal raphe-entopeduncular projections in topographically well organized. The medial nucleus projects principally medial to the entopeduncular nucleus, the lateral nucleus projects laterally. This eaudato-entopedun-cular projection is also dorsoventrally organized. But in all cases there are no labeled neurons observed in the rostral pole of the caudate nucleus.
