摘    要:目前,国外应用鲎变形细胞提取物(或称溶解物,简称鲎试剂)于医药、卫生和食品等行业检测内毒素和致热原(Jorgensen 1973;Weary,1980),具有灵敏度高,快速和操作简便等优点。近年来,国内某些单位已开始研制应用。

Abstract:Our research shows that the blood amoebocytes of the Chinese horseshoe crabs live 120 minutes in vitro and has 26 or even more kinds of amoeboid movement. Our observations and the supravital staining of the living amoebocytes demonstrate that the cell has two kinds of secretory granules. The bigger ones are haemocyanin, while the smaller ones are the source of amoebocyte lysates. Just before the amoebocyte makes contact with Es-cherichia coli, it is the bacteria which attack the amoebocyte first, when the pseudopodia of amoebocyte get in contact with Escherichia coli, the bacteria become fixed to the pseudo-podia. This is a primitive way of defense by the amoebocytes.
