摘    要:本文根据对多鳞铲颔鱼的分布、生物学特性及栖居河段的生态环境等所做的调查和研究,探讨了多鳞铲颌鱼的生态适应性及分布成因等问题。做为对北方寒冷气候的适应,多鳞铲颌鱼有蛰伏泉穴越冬的习性,越冬期近6个月;推测多鳞铲颌鱼是由原始鲃类演化来的,形成于更新世早期;现代分布状况可能是受第四纪冰期的影响而造成的。

Abstract:Taricorhinus (Scaphesthes) macrolepis (Bleeker) is an unique cyprinid fish of the subfamily Barbinae distributed north words to Changjiang River covering the Huaihe, Huanghe and Haihe Elvers, though it inhabits only the tributaries of these rivers in the mountain region. Due to the changes of geomorphologieal conditions the populations of the fish are isolated one from the other and formed a discontinuous geographical distribution without distinct differentiation.In the subterranean karst oaves the water temperature is more steady and usualy higher than that outside in the winter. The fish generally lives through the winter season in the caves and comes out in the next spring. The wintering period of this fish lasts about six months. This habit is an adaptation for the north cold season.The populations were derived from the game ancestral barbinte fish during the period of the early Pleistocene. The pattern of the modern distribution might be unduc-ed by the influence of the glacial epoch during the Quaternary Period.
