| Abstract: | A new fuzzy mulit-criterion decision approach is proposed to study chemotherapy.The problem is considered in the case of two drugs with independent modes of action.Both toxicity and drug resistance are taken into account.By a fuzzydecision theory,we mean a decision process in which the criterions and goals are in fuzzy nature.This means that the criteria and goals constitute classes of alternatives which are not sharply defined.A fuzzy decision may be viewed as an intersection of fuzzy criterions and goals.A maximizing decision is a point in the space of alternatives at which the membership function of fuzzy decision attains its maximum value. |
