| Abstract: | Bembidion (Archaeophilochthus) christelae a new subgenus and species belonging to the tribe Bembidiini (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Trechinae) preserved in a piece of Baltic amber (Eocene) is described. A comparison with recent fauna is made, and paleobiology of the species is hypothetized. |
