| Abstract: | Summary Granules isolated from the blue-green alga Anabaena cylindrica and composed of copolymers of arginine and aspartic acid have the electron microscopic aspects of structured granules and the solubility and certain of the staining properties of cyanophycin granules. Material which accumulates at the poles of heterocysts may have a similar composition. |
