| Abstract: | The ERG2 gene encoding the Saccharomyces cerevisiae C-8 sterol isomerase, an enzyme involved in plant, animal, and fungal sterol biosynthesis was sequenced. A large open reading frame comprising 222 amino acids was observed. |
