| Abstract: | Summary Experimental evidence is presented to demonstrate that indolepyruvic acid is an intermediate in the rebeccamycin biosynthetic pathway. 3-14C]Indolepyruvic acid was prepared and efficiently incorporated (8%) into rebeccamycin bySaccharothrix aerocolonigenes. |
