Abstract: | Summary The question as to whether potassium derived from two different sources is of equal nutritive value was investigated by means of diet experiments on mice, carried out under certain abnormal conditions. Six experiments, performed during the autumn and winter months of the year, gave results in the same direction, showing that one kind of potassium was more or less superior to the other one in maintaining body weight and life of the animals. The results of three of these experiments are here considered in more detail. |
