Abstract:The degree of caused wilting, respiratory rate, peroxidase activity and peroxidase isozyme in different disease resistance variety seedlings treated with crude extract of fusarium wilt pathogen were estimated, and the cellulase and pectinase activities in roots of some variety seedlings infected directly by pathogen were also measured. The results showed that in low degree of caused wilting Jihe 3016 treated with toxin, the changes of various physiological-chemical indices were rather small and appeared relatively stable while in those with high degree caused wilting Zhongmian 12, Lumian 6 and Handan 14, the respiratory rate and activities of peroxidase, cellulase and pectinase were all evidently enhanced, and new peroxidase isozymes were appeared. The explant test results of Zhongmian 12 which shows disease-resistant in fields were coincident with that of Lumian 6 and Handan 14, but its cellulase and pectinase activities were similar to that of Jihe 3016.
