Abstract: | The human electroretinogram (ERG) was recorded before and after transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in the region of the cortical link of the visual analyzer. TMS at the frequency of 5 Hz in the projection of the cortical link of the visual analyzer significantly increased the amplitude of the ERG b wave; this was most likely associated with changes in the state of neurons of the central links of the visual analyzer, which enter the retina with efferent fibers of the optic nerve and are actively involved in lateral inhibition. |
