| Abstract: | Ovulated oocytes were collected from random-bred, 7-12 week old ICR mice injected with 0, 3, or 6 i.u. pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG). Analyses of 872 metaphase figures from 87 females did not show a significant increase in chromosomal imbalance with PMSG treatment. A tendency toward ovum fragmentation was noted with an increase in PMSG dose. |
