| Abstract: | The structure of 3-epi-periplogenin, a new cardenolide from the leaves of Adonis vernalis was elucidated, by UV, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, MS and comparison with known cardenolides, as 17β-(2′,5′-dihydro-5′-oxo-3′-furyl)-5β-14β-androstane-3α,5β,14β-triol. |
