Abstract:
Pullulan productivity was optimized in Aureobasidium pullulans ATCC 42023 with 54 g glucose l–1. Pullulan with its higher molecular weight (>1000000) was produced using 2% (w/v) glucose and 3% (w/v) glucosamine together. The maximum concentration of pullulan was 8 g l–1 at 140 h with shake-flask culture.
