| Abstract: | A new hemipteran subfamily, Parastrachiinae , is proposed in the Cydnidae for the single genus Parastrachia Distant 1883. There are two included species, P. japonensis (Scott 1880) and P. nagaensis Distant 1908. The morphology, relationships, and taxonomic history of Parastrachia are discussed |
