Abstract: | In this minireview, the author briefly reviews the development of our understanding on the immunological function of golli
proteins. In the immune system, in addition to serving as autoantigens, golli proteins have been recently found to regulate
T-cell activation directly, thus modulating EAE induction. The evidence that golli proteins function as signal molecules is
summarized.
