Abstract: | Abstract The allelism between the mutations cif1 and fdp1 from Saccharomyces cerevisiae has been demonstrated using PCR techniques and complementation of function. The cif1 mutation results in a shortened version of the protein while the fdp1 mutation introduces a charged residue in a highly hydrophobic stretch. |
