Abstract: | A new concept of malignant tumor growth is presented. It concerns the fact that specific immune tolerance to tumor cells arises in the body. As a result, the center of regeneration is formed around them, which consists of cells of the immune system activated towards regeneration, which supports the formation and growth of the tumor. At the early stages of differentiation, precancerous cells are incapable of attracting immune cells and forming the focus of regeneration, so the majority of them die. In the focus of chronic inflammation, which contains a high percentage of activated immune cells, conditions are formed for the formation of the focus of regeneration, hence, for growth and activation of precancerous cells and their transformation into high-grade malignant cells. |
