| Abstract: | Two improvements are described for the assay of HMG CoA reductase. These are a simple synthesis of the substrate precursor HMG-3-(14)C anhydride and a double-label ((14)C and (3)H) method for determining the amount of mevalonate-3-(14)C that is formed from the substrate. |
