| Abstract: | The resources of herbicide resistance genes, the mechanism of herbicide-resistant plants and the introduction method of new traits in the gene engineering of genetically modified herbicide-resistance were reviewed in this papper. Environmental and food or feed safety considerations related to genetically modified herbicide resistant crops were also discussed in detail. Finally, some problems in developing herbicide-resistant crops were proposed. |
