| Abstract: | The MROS1 gene, one of the genes that are expressed specificallyin male reproductive organs of a dioecious campion Silene latifolia,was predicted to encode only 36 amino acids but have an intron.In situ hybridization revealed that MROS1 mRNA was localizedin mature pollen grains.
