| Abstract: | Aminooxyacetic acid (AOA) inhibited photoperiodically inducedflowering in Pharbitis nil. The application of AOA to the plumulejust after an inductive period was the most effective in inhibitingflowering. A correlation between inhibition of flowering andinhibition of glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase activity wasobserved with fifteen aminooxy derivatives.
