| Abstract: | The patterns of ontophylogenetic change of the brachidium in Late Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic terebratulids are analyzed. The work of Russian specialists in establishing new evolutionary trends and working out terebratulid taxonomy on the basis of ontophylogenetic studies is discussed. |
