| Abstract: | INTRODUCTION The lichen genus Lecanora is characterized by asci of the Lecanora-type, colorless ascospores, and crustose thalli; the apothecial margin usually contains algal cells. As a part of revision study of this genus, extensive collections were made in Hanas Natural Reserve (Altay range) and Tianchi (Tianshan range). During examination of these collections, we found a species of previously unrecorded from China (Wei 1991; Abbas 2001). |
