| Abstract: | TTP gamma-benzylamidates are shown to act as competitive inhibitors of poly(dT) synthesis catalyzed by E. coli RNA-dependent DNA polymerase. The KM value for TTP as well as KI values for the gamma-analogues have been determined. TTP gamma-4-(N-2-chloroethyl-N-methyl-amino)benzylamidate is shown to be an effective affinity reagent for this enzyme. |
